Welcome

I’m Solomon, founder of BAESHA. I created this brand to help people rediscover the hidden joy in design and art through storytelling and symbolism. In a world consumed by speed and sameness, BAESHA exists to reintroduce emotion, memory, and cultural intelligence into how we live with objects and one another.

African Artists from 1882 to Now-baesha    Cushion - Babies, chickens & eggs ‘fertility’-baesha

By fusing design and  psychology with Black, African, British, Japanese and global style references, we create work that transcends tokenism and challenges global taste quietly, beautifully, and without apology. So we’re not chasing trends; we’re building a new default where global and local coexist, and belonging feels beautiful.

Design culture has become fast, flat, and performative. BAESHA is my response, is a vessel for meaning that merges design, psychology, and cultural storytelling to restore emotion, memory, and intention to the way we live.

In a world speedily moving forward so fast, ours is a business moves with intention, a generational vessel that carries memory lightly. For us fragrance, colour, and texture aren’t decoration; they’re rhythm. They hold both energy and rest, conversation and contemplation.

This sits at the heart of BAESHA’s style ethos an embrace of fusion culture. British heritage is present in its craft, discipline, and quiet restraint. African histories are here too not as margins, but as equal foundations. Every gesture honours both tradition and future, mirrored in the precision and spirit of Japanese design and culture. Together, these influences joined by global edits and perspectives form a new aesthetic that reclaims, fuses, and builds spaces made beautiful not by perfection, but by a belonging.
