Solomon, a maker, psychotherapist, and storyteller, is deeply rooted in the concept of balance and belonging. His African heritage and strong affinity for the diverse coastal landscapes and countryside of the North East inspired him to blend the rich traditions of Black and African culture with modern and sustainable British living. He posed a thought-provoking question: “How can global design and art aesthetics inspire better spaces for modern living?”

This question inspired Solomon to delve into the intricate beauty of African wax-print fabric, natural materials, and similar creative processes, merging them with North East England's timeless textures and colours.
