Where I live, something beautiful, cultural, and colourful is happening. As part of the #NS800 celebrations, our town has been transformed by @elevation_walls and a group of incredibly talented local and international artists. Blank walls have been transformed into bold murals, and familiar streets now tell new stories.
This isn’t just decoration; it’s identity made visible. The art reflects our rich fishing heritage, cultural diversity, and the creative energy that flows through North Shields. Each mural brings a different voice, a different perspective, and a splash of difference that makes you stop, look, and think.
We’re incredibly grateful to @ad.paintingz, @kmgyeah, and @ninaperlirroja for their powerful contributions, and to @ilovenorthshields for celebrating everything that makes this place special.
It’s amazing what happens when history, community, and creativity meet in full colour. #ilovenorthshields #elevation_walls #NS800 #streetart #northshields #communityart #culturalexpression #urbanstories
